Zolisa Xaluva, a versatile actor, is set to take on the main role in an upcoming Mzansi Magic project titled Code 13. This follows shortly after reports surfaced of his departure from the role of Caesar Ngonyama in the popular eTV series Smoke & Mirrors.
A statement released regarding Xaluva’s exit from Smoke & Mirrors stated:
“As the new season of Smoke & Mirrors commences, the Producers of the Final Chapter Production have mutually agreed to part ways with Zolisa Xaluva. Zolisa has made significant contributions to the show in his portrayal of Caesar Ngonyama, and we extend our best wishes for his future endeavors.”
Xaluva wasted no time in returning to television screens, with the new Mzansi Magic series set to debut on April 14th. Entertainment commentator and television presenter Phil Mpela announced the news, stating:
“Zolisa Xaluva takes the lead in the new series. The highly acclaimed actor stars in the drama series Code 13 as Bheki Ndlovu — a determined detective from Johannesburg known for his ability to solve intricate cases. Code 13 premieres Sunday, April 14th on Mzansi Magic.”
