South African musician Bongani Mohosana, popularly known as Murdah Bongz, shared a video of him getting ready to play tennis with DJ Zinhle and AKA’s daughter Kairo Forbes — via an Instagram Story on Wednesday 15 March.
Kairo’s dad — South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA, was shot dead outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road on Friday 10 February.
DJ Zinhle’s “husband” Murdah Bongz shared a video of his tennis day with Kairo Forbes. Kairo is DJ Zinhle’s first child, who she welcomed with AKA in 2015. In August 2021, she welcomed her second child — Asante with Murdah Bongz.

“We’re playing tennis,” he wrote on the Instagram Story. This comes after Nadia Nakai took Kairo out for the day to spend some quality time together. Nadia was the girlfriend of AKA at the time of his death. She shared a video of herself and Kairo playing with a filter on her Instagram Stories on Sunday 12 March. Kairo looks adorable as she sings while Nadia is trying to figure out why the filter is not picking up on her face. I want to take a picture and send to your mom, hold on,” she says to the seven-year-old.
