Mpumelelo (22) Embraces Polygamy – Vows to Have More Women than His Father Musa Mseleku

Mpumelelo (22) Embraces Polygamy – Vows to Have More Women than His Father Musa Mseleku

The saying “Like Father Like Son” holds true for Mpumelelo Mseleku, who has chosen to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a polygamist. Mpumelelo is the son of Musa Mseleku, a well-known polygamist from KwaZulu-Natal who gained fame through his reality show called Uthando Nes’thembu, which aired on Mzansi Magic.

At the young age of 22, Mpumelelo made the decision to enter into relationships with two girlfriends, with the intention of building families with each of them. He is currently in a relationship with Vuyokazi Nciweni, who is expecting their second child, and Tirelo Kale, with whom he recently welcomed their first baby. Their experiences as a polygamous family are portrayed on the reality show Izingane Zes’thembu.

In an interview with TshisaLive, Mpumelelo discussed how he manages his polygamous lifestyle and the misconceptions surrounding it. He emphasized that polygamy is not something forced upon him but rather a way of life he was raised in. He believes that starting polygamy at a young age and growing with it helps to understand its dynamics better.

Drawing inspiration from his father’s journey as a polygamist, Mpumelelo highlighted the valuable lessons he has learned. He emphasizes the importance of being truthful, humble, respectful, and knowing how to apologize. According to Mpumelelo, individuals often emulate what they witnessed from their fathers while growing up, and for him, embracing polygamy was a natural choice.

In a previous interview on The Venting Podcast with Gogo Skhotheni, Mpumelelo expressed his love for women and his intention to expand his roster of partners. He made it clear that his decision to be a polygamist was not influenced by his father but stemmed from his own desires.

“I love women. I would be lying if I said my father convinced me into being a polygamist. If I was doing it for my father, I would not be able to continue doing it.

“I am still going to continue. I won’t say how many women I plan to have, but they’ll be more than my father has,” he said in the interview.

While he did not disclose the exact number of women he plans to have, he mentioned that it would exceed the number his father currently has.
