DJ Zinhle was in high spirits after baby Asante was discharged from hospital.
She recorded a video and posted it on her Instagram stories on Thursday.
She explained how hard it was leaving her 16-month-old child at the hospital.
“Daddy has been suffering because I have been crying every night after visiting my baby. I couldn’t stand leaving her at the hospital,” she wrote on her stories.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Zinhle said she was not planning on having more children, as she was content with her firstborn daughter Kairo Forbes and Asante.
“This is the last one. That’s for sure. It just takes so long to make a baby. If it took a shorter period maybe I’d have another one but I think I’m done. This is it for me,” she said.
Zinhle has been mourning the loss of AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, after his life was cut short when he was murdered in Durban earlier this month.
“Kiernan, I am so sorry that you have been robbed of your time with your daughter, with @nadianakai, Steffan, your mom @lynnforbesza, dad and all of us. I would give anything for Kairo to have more time with you, Kiernan. Her asking questions breaks me. What do I do when she misses and needs you?
“We quickly learnt that our differences would not be a burden for our daughter, our past mistakes could not deprive our daughter of a happy childhood with love from both mom and dad. I am so glad we figured it out, it’s as if we knew you would not be about long enough. Thank you for loving her the way you did.”
