It’s not just Mzansi that is celebrating the release of Mass Country; the world is also getting to experience the final album offering from slain rapper AKA – real name Kiernan Forbes.
And to commemorate the bittersweet occasion, a billboard in the late hitmaker’s honour has been unveiled in Times Square, New York.

Spotify added that streams for AKA’s music have increased by 743% since his death earlier this month.
Closer to home, AKA was also the star of a billboard erected on William Nicol Drive in Johannesburg.
The billboard was designed by artist Johnny Malepa, who also created AKA’s Touch My Blood billboard back in 2018.
