The murder trial of Senzo Meyiwa has resumed with a new judge

The trial of his suspected murders resumes in court, this time presided over by Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng.

Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela is replaced by Mokgoatlheng.

He was suspended on charges that he failed to deliver judgements on schedule.

Meyiwa, the goalie for Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates, was assassinated in October 2014.

The murder occurred at the house of his then-girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo, in Vosloorus.

For the murder, five guys are on trial.
