Thabo Bester, an escaped murderer and rapist, has supposedly been apprehended again in Tanzania. Bester, who was formerly believed to be dead, escaped from the Mangaung Prison in May 2022.
Bester was reportedly recaptured by law enforcement in Arusha, Tanzania.
On Saturday, April 8, eNCA stated that, despite the local police’s reluctance to confirm the arrest, it had it on good authority that Bester is in custody.
Another journalist, IOL’s Mzilikazi wa Afrika, tweeted a picture of the arrest warrant along with the information that one more person is still at large but is soon to be apprehended.
