Overview:
The main goal of the position is to make that global portfolio strategies are effectively implemented and that all local and regional requirements are completely taken into account and satisfied. In order to effectively support SCJ’s overall customer service goals, the Sr Associate Manager, Procurement function also entails ensuring that the incumbent provides adequate supply reliability and ensures that all internal (SAP) parameters are appropriately maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and sustain rebates with both domestic and international suppliers while negotiating the lowest pricing based on the entire cost to the business model and the best payment terms.
- Lead the creation of new tracking systems, databases, and procurement methods while speaking for SSA on the Platform commodity teams.
- With local and international vendors, create and maintain service level agreements and pricing models.
- performs Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for local, regional, and, to a lesser extent, international suppliers.
- In collaboration with the portfolio leads, ensures supplier compliance
- supports the procurement strategy, the quarterly inflation process, and the continuous improvement process for the supply process (among others: MOQ, inventory, and lead time optimisation).
Experience you’ll bring:
- Minimum of 5 years in Procurement especially in FMCG across SSA
- B.com Procurement/Purchasing/Supply Chain Degree or Engineering Qualification
