In the wake of their wedding, reports had it that there was trouble in paradise. According to Savanna News, Njilo was embroiled in financial woes, which saw Nketsi selling her mansion to foot some of the money demanded by the taxpayer.

Before being embroiled in financial woes, he had an estimated net worth of R240 million, according to Savanna News. No doubt his pockets have since run dry. Unconfirmed reports indicate that he is into the trucking business and has trucks that operate regionally.

However, he was reportedly one of the significant shareholders of Nduduzo Funeral Services in Edendale. The funeral service is a family business established in 1998 by his father, who has political ties with ANC.
