Vacancy: Travel & Hospitality Sales Support Administrator

Our client in Century City requires your effective communication & strong admin ability for compiling product information, supporting sales efforts & manage relationships with internal teams / external partners.If you have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the TRAVEL industry you will love working in this role!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
  • Proven experience in Sales Support, Administration, or a customer-facing role, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM systems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for travel and familiarity with managing incoming tourist destinations

DUTIES
 
Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in preparing proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all tour products, ensuring the sales team is updated with relevant information.
  • Process sales inquiries and follow up with prospective clients as directed by the sales manager.
  • Assist in the coordination of sales meetings, training sessions, and client events.

Product Management:

  • Collaborate with the product development team to compile and maintain accurate product information and pricing.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and trends to inform product enhancements and adjustments.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from sales and clients to support product improvements.

Data Management:

  • Update and maintain the CRM system with client interactions, feedback, and sales forecasts.
  • Generate reports on sales performance metrics and product progress as required by management.
  • Ensure all marketing materials accurately reflect current product offerings and are distributed to the sales team.

Communication & Liaison:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the sales team and product development team.
  • Facilitate the flow of information to ensure alignment between sales objectives and product offerings.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and gather market intelligence.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to enhance business opportunities.
  • Assist in resolving client inquiries and issues related to products or services.
  • Support customer engagement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
