Lindough credits his background in musical theatre for seamlessly slipping into the character of Thuphaki, emphasizing the transformative power of the suit and shoes.
The hit single “Oksalayo,” currently boasting 1.7 million views on YouTube, draws inspiration from Freddie Gwala’s Matshidiso. Lindough, deeply influenced by the melody and lyrics, collaborated with Gwala to honor the veteran musician.
Despite his diverse career as a dancer, content creator, actor, musician, and MC, Lindough finds the most joy in performing his own music on stage. With a family-oriented brand, he prefers gigs at weddings and corporate events over club performances.
Looking ahead, Lindough envisions retirement and aims to support emerging artists through his record label, VNS. His plans include the release of an album in January, increased visibility on TV, and further ventures into acting, with aspirations for local and international recognition and awards.
