Thando Thabethe found herself in the crossfire on Twitter after a picture of her posing with American musician Trey Songz was seen online.
In the picture, the South African radio and TV personality showed her laying her head on Na Na hitmaker’s chest. After viewing the picture, netizens were unimpressed and confused by Thabeth’s recent actions.
The entire weekend was like a welcome-back party for Beyoncé, and everyone was excited to see her back on stage as she had not performed in almost five years.
Thabethe was one of the many celebrities who jet set to the United Arab Emirates to watch Beyoncé’s concert live.
Last week Friday (20 January), Thabethe left the country with one of her close friends. She shared a snap on her Instagram account where she could be seen in the private section of an aeroplane with her bestie. Her followers excitedly bid her farewell.
Taking to the comment section, one fan wrote,
“Please don’t forget to post the pics with Beyoncé or JayZ. You promised us on the radio today. 😂”
According to Zalebs, the media personality was reportedly invited on an all-expenses-paid trip, courtesy of Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, where Beyoncé was reportedly booked to perform her concert.
After arriving in Dubai, the Housekeepers actress was spotted rubbing shoulders with the Single Ladies hitmaker’s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson.
Thabethe’s fans were overjoyed to see the talented radio presenter having fun and mingling with the American A-list celebrities but pointed out that Beyoncé’s mother was absolutely giving off fake vibes the selfie shared by a popular entertainment blogger.

NBC reported that Tremaine Aldon Neverson, popularly known as Trey Songz, was allegedly accused of anal raping a woman at a party in 2016. The woman reportedly filed a rape case and said,
“After entering the bedroom, Trey Songz turned, almost immediately, into a savage rapist.”
Mzansi feminists were flabbergasted by Thabethe’s choice to associate herself with the Bottoms Up hitmaker.
According to the South African Government website, “over 13 000 women have been confirmed victims of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm between July and September 2022” alone.
Netizens bashed Thabethe in the comment section and questioned her stance against gender-based violence as well as rape against women.
