Entrepreneur and musician Siya Metane, widely known as Slikour, and his wife Melissa Wilkinson, have issued a joint statement addressing allegations of abuse and infidelity that recently surfaced.
The couple’s five-year marriage came under scrutiny after reports from Sunday World suggested that Slikour had been separated from his wife.

According to a source cited by the publication, there were claims of financial and psychological mistreatment from Slikour towards Melissa.
“Melissa attempted to salvage her marriage and advocated for her involvement in decision-making, but her efforts were disregarded as Slikour persisted in making unilateral decisions,” the source revealed.
In their official statement, the couple acknowledged the circulating allegations concerning their marital status.
“We have been married for over five years, and like any other marriage, we encounter challenges that we must confront and overcome. While we acknowledge these hurdles, we also seek the opportunity to address them privately,” the statement expressed.
“As parents, our primary focus remains on cultivating a nurturing and harmonious environment, not only for ourselves but especially for our children. We kindly request that our marriage and family matters be handled with sensitivity and respect, allowing us the space to maintain our privacy.”
Celebrating their fifth anniversary in 2022, the couple shares two children. Despite keeping their relationship low-key, Slikour has often expressed his affection for Melissa on special occasions.
