Popular South African goalkeeper Itumeleng Issac Khune was blasted online by fans when he took to his timelines on Thursday, 27 April, to show off his mind-boggling soccer boot collection, however, his fans and followers were not impressed and voiced their true opinions on the matter.
The 35-year-old professional soccer player has been in the game since 2004 when he joined Kaizer Chiefs. He also joined the national soccer team Bafana Bafana in 2008.
It’s no secret that soccer players get paid a lot of money. In fact, Khune was said to earn a whopping R480 000 per month, Briefly reported.
It’s no wonder he managed to collect so many pairs of soccer boots over the years.
Khune gave his fans a peek inside his soccer boot closet and captioned,
“Which pair would u like me to rock from my archive?♂️”
Unfortunately, the post was not received well by his fans who slammed him for showing off instead of giving back to the community.
