Edwin Sodi, a controversial businessman from South Africa, has made news for a variety of unfavorable events throughout the years.
Aside from the corruption issue, of course, his associations with some of the most well-known female celebrities have consistently been the cause of his attention.
According to rumors, the “blesser,” who is extremely affluent and kind, has managed to capture the hearts of some of Mzansi’s most stunning ladies as well as certain celebrities’ girlfriends and wives.
When he revealed Edwin Sodi’s “hit list,” which included several South African celebrities including Minnie Dlamini, Thuli Phongolo, and Mihlali Ndamase, to name a few, in May 2022, notorious celebrity tea master Musa Khawula ignited Twitter.
South African controversial businessman, Edwin Sodi has been in the headlines for so many not-so-good reasons over the years. The most consistent reason for his publicity, besides his corruption scandal of course, is his involvement with some of the most famous female celebrities.
Rumour has it that the “blesser” who is very wealthy and generous has found a way to win the hearts of some of the most beautiful women in Mzansi, as well as the girlfriends and wives of some celebrities.
In May 2022, controversial celebrity tea master, Musa Khawula set Twitter ablaze when he shared Edwin Sodi’s “hit list” which included some of South Africa’s celebrities including Minnie Dlamini, Thuli Phongolo, and Mihlali Ndamase, just to name a few.
Kefilwe Mabote
Famous fashion icon, author and businesswoman- Kefilwe Mabote is one of the famous women who have been linked to Edwin Sodi.
Kefilwe and the controversial businessman were reportedly in a relationship a couple of years ago. Their relationship ended in late 2020 shortly after Sodi’s assets were seized by the Asset Forfeiture Unit following his involvement in the infamous Asbestos scandal.
The breakup drew a lot of attention and some tweeps criticized Mabote for leaving Sodi at his lowest point. Other tweeps however sided with her as they explained that she had to protect her brand from negative publicity.
Onalerona Moreo (ProVerb’s Ex)
Another woman in Edwin Sodi’s “hit list” is Onalerona Moreo. Although she is not a celebrity, her affair with the controversial businessman caught public attention because, at the time, she was married to Idols SA host- ProVerb.
Onalerona Moreo and ProVerb were married for ten years before they separated in 2015 and filed for divorce the following year.
At the centre of their divorce, was Edwin Sodi who had allegedly had an affair with Onalerona. The two reportedly met in 2013 at a carwash and hit it off. They started dating shortly after and continued with their affair until 2015 when ProVerb finally caught up with them.
