Anele Mdoda is one proud mother as she announced during her radio show that her son Alakhe has been nominated for this year’s Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, under the Favourite African Kidfluencer category.
On her 947 breakfast show radio show, Anele Mdoda proudly expressed her excitement after her son Alakhe bagged this amazing win. “I’m going to use the company resource to brag and to get a little bit of an army going here. We need to win here. Favourite African Kidfluencer,” she exclaimed.
Alakhe is not the only celebrity kid nominated under this category. Soon-to-be wed Tshepio Vundla’s son Siba Bogopa is also nominated. As well as famous DJ, DJ Arch Jnr, Rethabile Mokgatla, Lethukuthula Bhengu, and Olianna and Olivia.
The older celebs nominated at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards include former The Daily Show host Trevor Noah and The Woman King star Thuso Mbedu as well as the all-female soccer team Banyana Banyana.
Anele has been doing very well as Alakhe’s mother, providing him with the key needed to break into the industry at his young age. People always question whether his father is present in his life because Anele rarely posts him.
She gave a fiery clap back at a troll who said she was having chest pains because Kelly Rowland’s family spent the holiday’s together.

Anele was not having it so she clapped back, “ALAKHE’S dad is very present my love. So is mine. It would appear you are the one here showing lack of a father but clearly many daddies. On your knees standwa Sam, it is the only affection you know how to get from men clearly.”
When asked why does she respond to trolls, Anele said she is nobody’s role model, “My love, me I above no one. I keep stressing that and y’all keep making me some sort of role model. Please ba khona oMichelle Obama.”
