Mondli Makhoba, a Mzansi actor and playwright, was reportedly taken off the market when a photo of him and his lover went viral.
Musa Khawula, a notorious entertainment writer, recently tweeted a photograph of the love birds on his official Twitter profile with the caption: “Meet Mondli Makhoba’s girlfriend, Nokuphila Sibiya.”
A surprising amount of Twitter users were surprised to learn that the seasoned actor was in a relationship, while others remarked on how lovely the two looked together. Other Twitter users, however, were concerned about Mondli’s heated romance scenes on the famous Showmax soap “The Wife.”

The TV star is popularly known as Bhut’omdala, who portrayed the character of Nkosana Zulu on ‘The Wife’. Many South Africans were captivated by his character and his spicy romantic scene with his on-screen wife Zandile, portrayed by Khanyi Mbau in the show.
Many tweeps were left wondering how Mondli’s partner handled the hot romantic scenes. Zalebs previously reported that the actor told Podcast And Chill With MacG that his “wife” was not bothered by the controversial scene.
The seasoned actor, who plays the role of Ngomane in the new Mzansi Magic hit series Shaka Ilembe, recently opened up about his experiences on the show. Despite facing a few challenges while filming it, Mondli said he feels honored to be part of the cast.
Speaking to Sunday World, he said: “Being part of this historical show is everything to me, and I feel very blessed, I also believe all these years I was being prepared for this production. It is a show that is very close to my heart because I love the history of my culture.
“I had to connect with the spirit of Ngomane and bring him to life. I also believe that characters also chose who they want to rise in when they want their story to be told. I feel I did connect with Ngomane and I did the best I could to tell his story.”
