Tributes pours in for Qhabanga, May his soul rest in peace

Celebrated actor Siyabonga Shibe who plays the role of Qhabanga Khumalo on SABC1’s most-watched soapie Uzalo was given a befitting farewell which left Mzansi in tears.

The seasoned actor paid an emotional farewell to the show on his social media accounts. Qhabanga who plays Nkunzi’s half brother shared an emotional tribute saying his goodbye to co-workers and his fans.

Most of his fans were in tears as his role as a fan favorite on the show.

His work colleagues were saddened by his departure from the soapie and they could barely hold their tears. They sang and danced in his honor bidding him farewell. Reportedly Qhabanga was fired from Uzalo after he had a feud with the producers.

He has denied those allegations and said that he is leaving the show because he missed his family and he wants to explore other roles within the acting industry.

He took to Instagram and wrote a lengthy message thanking the producers, cast members, and fans. He said for now he is going home to be with his family after months of being apart and soon he will be back.
