(OPINION)

When Julius Malema insisted that he will never allow the police witness to testify against him without the presence of media, many never understand what juju was driving at.

Hence, with series of incidents that happened in court during the assaulted trials, it is now clearer that what he wanted the entire world to see has started to emerge.

The case is now beginning to show some racially motivated as some have believed. How do I mean?

Malema indeed appointed the white lawyer as a disguise method of showing the entire world that he is not a racist even though he said this is to proof that they are not racist but these two incidents must be noted.

The defence lawyer, Advocate Hodes after asking several questions with Venter pin points the accrediation on the dash board of the car asking this:

“I hate playing the race card but Colonel can you see you are the only white person there stoping them?

Venter answers :” That is correct.”

Also during the break, there was a heated altercation between the EFF leader, Julius Malema and MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi with a man.

It was believe that the man named Wiko is from AfriForum, and was sitting near the accused’s dock allegedly blocking the EFF members from getting to the dock.

It was a serious altercation that would not be overlooked as the case resume in March.

The EFF has indicated that the case was orchestrated by Afriforum group with motive to send their leader behind bars and this was also confirmed in one of the questions Advocate Hodes asked Colonel Venter.

Also, while speaking after the court, the ATM leader Mzwanele Manyi who attended the proceedings said

“I think it is important that we don’t become superficial about this issue. It’s very deep. In fact, this is the legacy of apartheid interfering in democracy” he said

“It’s very important that everybody who understands the context of South Africa must be able to see this case for what it is.” He added.

The case has been pospone to March 2021 and undoubtedly more is yet to come.
