Also, in addition to our International Excellence Scholarship, which offers up to $25,000 every year, we have other scholarships for international students that will make pursuing your college degree at Hamline more affordable. The following scholarships are based on your admission materials. No separate application is necessary.
- Hamline International Excellence Scholarship: Up to $25,000 per year for students recognized as having exceptional academic ability. This scholarship is very competitive.
- Scholarships for ELS Language Students: $5,000 ($1,250 per year for up to four years) for students who complete the ELS English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program Level 112 and transfer directly to Hamline University.

The scholarship offers tuition discounts ranging from $5,000 and above depending on the scholarship type you qualify for.
There is no separate application required. International students are to apply for admission into the schools and they will be automatically considered for the scholarship opportunity if they meet the school’s criteria.
