Nadia-Nakai-and-AKA3

Today marks one month since the death of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.

The iconic rapper was shot and killed outside Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban on February 10, 2022, in what the South African Police Services confirmed was an assassination. Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, a long-time friend and former manager, was also killed in the shooting.

Today marks the one-month anniversary of his death, and his girlfriend Nadia Nakai took to social media to remember him.

Nadia Nakai shared a few photos and videos that she took with her boyfriend AKA. Nadia Nakai, who is still coming to terms with AKA’s death, stated that it feels surreal.

Her Instagram post has left Mzansi feeling emotional. AKA’s mother, Lynn Forbes, Dj Zinhle, celebrity friends, and fans have since taken to the comment section to sympathize and comfort her.
