Mpumalanga Woman found Dead in her car
Mpumalanga Police are on the hunt for an unknown suspects that are said to be responsible for the murder of a 33-year-old woman at Machadodorp on Friday, 2 July.
The woman was found dead in her vehicle with gunshot wounds.
The South African Police Service were informed about a vehicle parked on the side of the road near a veld in Rietfontein Farm with a dead woman inside.
The woman was seemingly unconscious, according to the individuals that reported the matter to police.
When Police Officers arrived at the scene they found a VW Polo with a dead woman in the driver’s seat with gunshot wounds.
“Medical personnel were notified about the incident and on arrival, the woman was certified dead,” said Hlathi.
The deceased woman was identified as Nompumelelo Patricia Malaza by her family.
She was employed by a “reputable bank” in Sable, according to the police.
Malaza’s family said she left home to visit her brother in Carolina.
A case of murder was opened and is currently under investigation.
