South African DJ, television personality, radio presenter, record producer, businesswoman, and philanthropist, Lamiez Holworthy has opened up about the changes in her body. Lamiez is expecting her first baby with Khuli Chana.
It is no secret that during pregnancy, women experience swollen feet and a bloated nose as well as other bodily side effects. Taking to Instagram, she shared a series of stories revealing that she’s experiencing it too. She joked about the changes saying she feels like an elephant now.
“My feet, fingers, ankles, and legs? Okare ke elephant. I’ve had to stop wearing jewelry because wow,” she wrote.
In another story, the DJ opened up about the struggles of cleaning her home and how drained her body was after cleaning one room.
“Spring cleaning my house neh? And my feet were just like “not today Ma’am. At least I got one room done though.. Now? Now I can go back to being taken care of and chill like the baby that I am,” she wrote.
