KZN cases expected to rise

Over the past week, over 40 people have lost their lives to COVID-19 in KwaZulu-Natal. Just under 2,500 new infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours.

KZN health MEC Nomagugu Simelane said the local government was expecting an increase in cases over the festive period.

This is as holidaymakers make their way to the coast.
