JOHANNESBURG | Kwaito star and entertainment personality Nomasonto Maswanganyi, popularly known as Mshoza, has died on Thursday.
The 37-year-old was known for her hit song “Kortes”.
She was outspoken on a number of issues including gender-based violence and shared her experiences of intimate partner violence in 2018.
Maswanganyi is survived by two children.
The cause of death has not been released.
The music industry has once again lost one of amazing artists, the queen of Kwaito, Mshoza💔
