With his rumored lover Nandipha Magudumana, also known as “Dr Nandi,” Thabo Bester reportedly traded a Magaung prison cell for an R12 million house.
Nandipha Magudumana, also known as Dr. Nandi, and her rumored lover Thabo Bester have disappeared, leaving their multi-million rand Johannesburg house in their wake.
The home, which is in the wealthy neighborhood of Hyde Park, is said to have been empty since the pair allegedly fled last week.
The property, which has an R12 million valuation, is situated close to Cyril Ramaphosa’s Johannesburg home, according to reports.
Dr. Nandi is charged with assisting Bester in May 2022 in faking his demise and escaping custody. Additionally, she is charged with co-owning several companies with a convicted rapist, murderer, and fraudster.
This week, a number of media organizations went to the Hyde Park home where Dr. Nandi and Thabo Bester reportedly moved in together.
The alleged pair also shared a residence with Nandipha’s two children, whom she has with her spouse, Vuyo Magudumana, whom she is legally married to.
The proprietor of Optimum Medical Aesthetics Solutions in Sandton and a well-known aesthetician is Dr. Nandi.
According to News24, the opulence has the following features.
- lofty ceilings, large windows, and skylights, all with white trimmings
- a luxury kitchen with granite surfaces and countertops
- There are four bedrooms with private baths.
- a tennis field, a pool, and a recreation area
- 3 parking spaces

Thabo Bester and Dr. Nandi had leased numerous properties from the real estate company, many of which were for business use, according to eNCA’s Silindelo Masikane.
The real estate entrepreneur, who wished to remain unnamed, also states that Bester was introduced to them in August 2022. Bester claimed to be Dr. Nandi’s spouse under the pseudonym TK Nkwana.
The property operator claims that Dr. Nandi pays R800 000 in back rent.
The famous aesthetician posted pictures of her opulent house on her Instagram page.

Meanwhile, News24 reported finding a chilling note in one of the children’s bedrooms. The note reads: “Do not enter. Ever” and is written in a child’s handwriting. The note also contains a drawing of a sad face.
The note is particularly disturbing given that Bester was convicted for the rape of two women in 2011. In 2012 he was sentenced for the murder of his girlfriend, model Nomfundo Tyhulu.
