Hospitalized Ex-Boyfriend Of Londie London Faces Attempted Murder Charges

Londie London’s ex-boyfriend, businessman Sphamandla Mabonga, is facing charges of attempted murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm, among others.

Mabonga, currently hospitalized after being shot at Tempo nightclub, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of an unlicensed firearm, pointing of a firearm, and firing a firearm in a municipal area.

The charges stem from an altercation with nightclub security in Sunninghill, Johannesburg, where Mabonga allegedly opened fire after being denied entry with a gun.

He is also implicated in cases related to incidents at Konka nightclub in Soweto and accusations of kidnapping and assault in Bramley.

Investigations into extortion allegations involving Mabonga are ongoing.

Under police guard in a Johannesburg hospital, he is set to appear in court.

Londie London, his girlfriend and Real Housewives of Durban star, has distanced herself, confirming their breakup.

Over the weekend, news circulated about the businessman sustaining injuries in a shooting at Tempo restaurant.

As speculations arose linking Mabonga as her current boyfriend, the actress took to Instagram to set the record straight, emphasizing that they have indeed broken up.

On Tuesday, Londie shared a series of recent photos on her Instagram account. The final slide, featuring a picture of a toy gun, sparked reactions, particularly from those familiar with the recent saga involving her ex-partner.

Notably, reports surfaced over the weekend suggesting that the gun used by Mabonga in the restaurant incident was a gift from the musician.
