Sandile Ka Nqose, an anchor on the weekday eNews Direct bulletin, has sadly passed away. Sandile was also Sports anchor, producer and co-founder of Afrikan Horizons.
His passing was announced by his ENCA colleague Nandi Tshabalala, who said she was honoured to have worked with Sandile.
Sandile was admired by his fans who say they wouldn’t miss his sports bulletin because of his excellent knowledge. He was also loved for his attire which was always on point. Details around his death have not yet been revealed. I remember Sandile doing sport @1pm news with Duduzile Ramela and used to love them. Condolences to his family and friends!!
Her are some of the tribute messages South Africans are currently sending on Twitter:

@psixaba I covered the East London leg of the Springbok trophy tour in 2019 with Sandile Ka Nqose. He helped me a lot on the day even though we were working for different companies. I didn’t even have to ask for help. Top broadcaster the man was.
Tributes continue to pour in for former eNCA and etv sports anchor Sandile ka Nqose. He passed away on Monday at the age of 42. A beloved sports fan and a man who had a passion for effortless broadcasting, "Seida" as he was popularly known, started his career at eNCA in 2008. pic.twitter.com/lVASHt8Jyy

@RobertShivambu Wow it never ends! Sandile Ka Nqose is gone? Just like that? We were good workmates at eNCA and used to joke about things and encourage each other. So sad.
