Double Blow For Disgraced Miss SA Hopeful Bianca Schoombee As Modeling Agency Dumps Her
It never rains but it pours, for disgraced Miss SA hopeful Bianca Schoombee, after the modeling agency which represented her, abruptly terminated her contract.
SYNC Models, which was representing Schoombee, terminated their contract with her saying she breached their agreement with them.
Initially, SYNC models had decided to stand by Schoombee, pleading on her behalf, that people should forgive her as she is now a reformed person and her conduct with them, has been nothing but impeccable.
“We ask you to find it within your hearts that you forgive views of a teenager who has grown immensely and is on the road to rebuild herself as a South African, who embodies the existence of our democracy,” they said
The old tweets which saw Schoombee being hauled over hot coals, had elements of racism, body shaming and slu_t shaming.
In the tweets she made cruel remarks pertaining to skin color, body shamed woman of both sizes and used the ‘N’ word, several times.
SYNC Models later apologized for its defense of Bianca Schoombee, saying they were now taking measures to vet their clients’ social media.
Bianca Schoombee’s dreams to be Miss SA 2020 came to a halting screech when her derogatory old tweets were dug up and laid bare for all to see.
South Africans on social media were baying for her blood and demanded her head to be put on the chopping block.
SYNC Models said the decision to terminate Bianca Schoombee’s contract was mutual.
They also said they don’t condone racial discrimination and emphasized that they believe in diversity and equality.
“Bianca Schoombee and SYNC Models have mutually agreed to part ways in a civil manner,
“SYNC Model Management is real and authentic, resulting in the freshest talent on offer, boasting one of Africa’s largest model and artist management agencies, casting for national and international empires. We would like to wish Ms Bianca Schoombee all the best with her future endeavours.”
SYNC Models also said Bianca Schoombee’s current gigs contacted with them have been cancelled with immediate effect.
Bianca Schoombee’s apologized for the old tweets, saying she had grown up and she was no longer that person however it was too little too late.
She also deleted all her social media accounts afterwards.
The Miss SA organization also threw Bianca Schoombee under the bus and said she was still an aspiring candidate and had not made it past the initial stages of being part of the pageant.
They also said they don’t condone racism, bribery or libel, thus sealing Schoombee’s fate and later SYNC Models advised that she had also pulled her application out of the pageant.
