COVID-19 Update: 3,222 new cases and 2 more deaths

SA doctors must choose who lives and dies as Covid-19 cases increase

COVID-19 Update: 3,222 new cases and 2 more deaths.

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) has reported 3,222 new COVID-19 cases.

They have also reported a further two COVID-19 related death. Gauteng leads in infections with 1,727 new cases, followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 818 cases.

Zulu King’s coronation put on hold

King Misuzulu was set to be coronated on 28 May. President Cyril Ramaphosa was due to attend the coronation to give King Misuzulu his kingship certificate in person. Following the catastrophic flooding in KZN, King Misuzulu has postponed his coronation to give his people time to heal.
