Church Robbed While Live Streaming Service In KZN

During a worship service, an armed robbery took place at a local church called Emmanuel Community Church on Spring Road in Tea Estate – Kwa Zulu Natal.

The incident was captured on camera and has been widely shared on social media.

The video shows one of the robbers carrying a firearm and taking valuable items from the pastor, as well as a flat-screen TV on stage.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) reported that five armed men entered the church and stole valuables along with three vehicles.

“The live stream was being viewed by individuals throughout South Africa and India when five (5) armed suspects stormed the Emmanuel Community Church on Spring Road in Tea Estate – KZN and held up members of the congregation.”

“The robbers made off with valuables and three vehicles.”

“Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) recovered a maroon Toyota Corolla abandoned in Amatikwe – KZN at approximately 20:28. A GWM Steed was recovered by Netstar one (1) kilometre away.”
